Julia Kijas is a dedicated research professional currently serving as a Research Technician for the Division of Cancer Sciences at The University of Manchester since September 2024. Prior to this role, Julia worked as a Laboratory Technician at hVIVO from April 2023 to September 2024, where responsibilities included sample management adhering to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Julia also contributed as a Junior Researcher at the Genome Engineering Laboratory at the University of Westminster from June 2022 to February 2023. Julia is currently pursuing a degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Westminster, having previously studied at Jagiellonian University from October 2019 to June 2021.
