Ludwig Schneider is currently a Schmidt-AI Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Chicago, focusing on AI material research, design, and method development involving soft materials, polymers, and chemistry informatics, along with high-throughput simulations and GPU-accelerated software development. Prior to this role, Ludwig served as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where responsibilities included computational and AI material research alongside teaching and mentoring students. Ludwig's research experience began at the University of Göttingen as a Scientific Researcher, engaging in softmatter non-equilibrium research and assisting in teaching various physics courses. Educational qualifications include a Postdoctoral fellowship in Molecular Engineering from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. in Statistical Physics, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Physics, all obtained from the University of Göttingen, along with an Abitur from Katharineum zu Lübeck.
