Evonne Thompson, CPA, MBA, is an experienced professional currently serving as the Interim Assistant Vice President for Compliance, ERM, and Internal Audit at the University of Chicago since July 2022. Previously, Evonne founded Elici in 2020, providing faith-based solutions for business and ministry leaders. From 2020 to 2022, Evonne worked at Charles Schwab in the Internal Audit sector, supporting methodology and training for over 250 staff members. Prior roles include Director of Risk Consulting at KPMG US, where Evonne led client transformation initiatives, and Director of Risk Assurance at PwC, directing cross-functional teams on various client solutions. Evonne began a career in internal auditing at The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited, holding the position of Assistant Vice President, Control Operations/Senior Internal Auditor. Educational credentials include an MBA and a Master of Arts in Practical Theology from Regent University, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Butler University, and a Doctor's Degree from United Theological Seminary.
