Aaron Elmore is an accomplished academic and technical advisor with significant experience in computer science. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Chicago since June 2015, Aaron previously held the position of Assistant Professor in the same department. Alongside academia, Aaron has contributed as a Technical Advisor at Ocient since 2018 and at 3PM Solutions from March 2016 until its acquisition by eBay in February 2023. Additional roles include consulting for MotherDuck in 2023 and completing a Postdoctoral Associate position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2014. Aaron earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where research focused on distributed database platforms, and obtained an MS from the University of Chicago and a BS from DePaul University.
