Ashley Nagele currently serves as the Associate Director of Individual Giving at UChicago Medicine, focusing on major gifts for head, neck, and gastrointestinal cancers as well as the Ben May Department for Cancer Research. Previously, Ashley held the position of Assistant Director of Development at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where philanthropic initiatives targeted the School of Molecular and Cellular Biology. Ashley has a background in animal sciences and reproductive biology, with laboratory assistant roles in multiple institutions, including the University of Illinois and Universidade de São Paulo. Ashley's educational qualifications include a Bachelor's of Arts in Portuguese & Brazilian Studies, a minor in Development Economics and International Development, and a Bachelor's of Science in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois. Additionally, Ashley completed an internship focused on bovine in-vitro fertilization at Born Animal Biotechnology and participated in a hands-on internship in New Zealand.
