Aniruddha (Anu) Hazra is a highly accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in the field of infectious diseases. Currently serving as the Director of STI Services at the Chicago Center of HIV Elimination and as an Assistant Professor at UChicago Medicine, Aniruddha has been in these roles since July 2018. Prior experience includes a fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in the Division of Infectious Diseases from July 2016 to June 2018 and leadership as Chief Resident at Rush University Medical Center from July 2012 to June 2016. Aniruddha obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Boston University School of Medicine in 2012, following a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Boston University in 2008.
