Kristi Espino is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Controller at the University of Austin since June 2024. Previously, Kristi held the Controller position at PeopleFund from September 2022 to June 2024 and at the Texas Municipal Police Association from October 2011 to September 2022, where expertise in managing accounting records and producing financial reports was developed. Prior roles include Vice President of Finance at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County, Accounting Manager at Fore Property, and Controller at O'Brien Realty. Kristi began a career in finance as an Accountant at Occidental Chemical Corp after earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University in 1996.
