Crystal Butler is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in instructional design and library sciences. Currently, Crystal co-founded and serves as a board member and treasurer for the Alabama Instructional Design Network (AIDN) since October 2018. At The University of Alabama, Crystal has held multiple positions since May 2017, progressing from Instructional Designer I to Senior Instructional Designer. Prior experience includes roles as Serials Librarian at Shelton State Community College and Information Services Librarian at Stillman College, alongside earlier positions as a Graduate Assistant at The University of Alabama and Legal Secretary at Turner, Webb & Roberts, P.C. Crystal holds three degrees from The University of Alabama: a Master of Science in Interactive Technology, a Master of Arts in Health Studies, and a Master of Library and Information Science.
