Ivon Gomez currently serves as the School Readiness Coordinator at The Unity Council, overseeing three Early Head Start and Head Start centers, ensuring compliance with educational standards while providing coaching and training to staff. Concurrently, Ivon has been the Owner and Director of Little Jungle Preschool since 2014, where a high-quality early childhood program is offered to families. Previous experience includes managing budgets and staff as the Director of Little Acorn Christian Preschool, creating enriching curricula as a Kindergarten Afterschool Teacher at Mission Graduates, and coordinating after school programs at Salvation Army Mission Corps. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, and ongoing studies towards a Doctor of Education at the University of California, Berkeley.
