Teresa Valerio Carnemolla is an experienced educator with a strong background in early childhood education and special education. Since January 2015, Teresa has served as a Chapter Lead at the United Federation Of Teachers, while also working as an Early Childhood Education Teacher for the NYC Department of Education since September 2011, focusing on special education and gross motor skills. Previous roles include Special Education Teacher at Park Slope Tutoring and Teacher at Holy Child PreSchool. Teresa gained early experience as an Intern in the office of Assemblyman Louis R. Tobacco. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education Students with Disabilities from Touro University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Communications from the College of Staten Island.
