Kayla Turner is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, holding various roles at The Umstead Hotel and Spa since January 2018, including Director of Catering and Conference Services, Director of Catering, Social Catering Manager, Assistant Bar and Lounge Manager, and Herons Server. Prior to this, Kayla served as Director of Catering and Special Events and Food and Beverage Manager at Linville Ridge Country Club from June 2015 to November 2018. Earlier experience includes positions at Chetola Resort & Conference Center, where Kayla worked from June 2012 to June 2015 as Food and Beverage Director, Assistant Food and Beverage Director, and Food and Beverage Manager. Kayla is a graduate of Appalachian State University, having completed a degree from August 2008 to May 2013.
