Jasleen Shokar, J.D., currently serves as an Associate Attorney at The Turek Law Firm, PC, providing healthcare legal support and litigation since August 2023. Previously, Jasleen held the role of Associate Attorney at Foster LLP from September 2022 to August 2023 and has experience as a Law Clerk Associate. In addition to these positions, Jasleen has been a Fellow at Lawyers Of Color since October 2020, and has contributed to various organizations such as St. Mary's University School of Law as a Board of Advocates Officer and the National Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (NAPALSA) as the Public Relations Director. Other roles include a Summer Law Clerk at the Texas Attorney General's office and a Legal Intern at Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center. Jasleen's early career involved political and journalistic endeavors, including serving as a Field Organizer for Beto for Senate and a News Desk Editor for The Daily Texan. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Plan II and Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin and a Doctor of Law from St. Mary's University School of Law.
