Ben Lubbers

Associate Planner II at The Tulalip Tribes

Ben Lubbers is an experienced professional in planning and natural resource management, currently serving as Associate Planner II for The Tulalip Tribes since April 2016. Prior to this role, Ben Lubbers was a Professor at Northwest Indian College from 2011 to 2016 and held the position of Interim Executive Director at the Stilly-Snohomish Fisheries Enhancement Task Force, where involvement included salmon recovery planning and financial management. Ben Lubbers also contributed to the Network of Oregon Watershed Councils as a Program Associate, facilitating training programs and organizing conferences. Earlier experiences include a Water Conservation Specialist role at Eugene Water & Electric Board and positions as a Naturalist and Volunteer. Educational credentials include a degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Oregon and a degree in Natural Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
