Re-joining MAB, Peter Gove retired from the private sector in 2005 after 25 years in executive positions with St. Jude Medical and Control Data Corporation. In his public sector career, he served as Governor Wendell R. Anderson’s environmental assistant, executive director of the MN Pollution Control Agency, founding member of the Environmental Quality Board, legislative director on Anderson’s U.S. Senate staff and chief of legislation for the National Park Service. He was the first chair of the MNRRA Mississippi River Commission, is the principal founder of Friends of the Mississippi River (FMR) and is active on several non-profit and for-profit boards. Mr. Gove graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University and completed the Stanford University Executive Program. Peter served on the Minnesota Advisory Board from 2007 – 2016, including Board Chair for several years.
