Micah Roberge

Advisor, New England at The Trust for Public Land

Micah Roberge is a wealth Management Advisor and First Vice President at Merrill Lynch in Portland, Maine. In his capacity, he works to the balance risk and reward of investments and personal assets for individuals and families so they plan to meet their financial goals of retirement, wealth transfer, and charitable giving, or other self-determined priorities. He is a member of the investments and Wealth Institute, and has earned the Certified Investments Management Analyst (CIMA) and Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA) in conjunction with the Wharton School of Business at The University of Pennsylvania and The Booth School of Business at The University of Chicago, respectively. As of the end of 2017, approximately 1.2% of advisors in the US hold CIMA designation, approximately 0.2 % of advisors hold the CPWA designation, and approximately 0.07 % of advisors in the US hold both the CIMA and CPWA designations. Micah earned his AB from Bowdoin College with degrees in Mathematics and Economics, and moved to Portland after graduating. Since living in Portland for the past 15 years, and now with his wife Kate and two children, Micah has come to appreciate, firsthand the importance that urban and suburban green space plays in improving quality of life. Micah first engaged with The Trust for Public Land on a volunteer basis in a joint effort to preserve a 13 acre parcel near over 100 homes in suburban Portland known locally as The Canco Woods. Enthusiastic about the level of TPL success locally, and grateful for the organizational expertise and involvement when a preservation opportunity in nearly his own back yard, Micah joined the Maine Advisory Board in 2018.
