Sonny Lau is a highly experienced medical professional, currently serving as the Medical Director at The Travel Doctor - TMVC in Melbourne since 1995. Previously, Sonny held the position of Principal Public Health Medical Officer at the Victorian Department of Health from June 2020 to June 2022. Education includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Public Health & Tropical Medicine from James Cook University. Additional qualifications comprise a Certificate of Travel Health from the International Society of Travel Medicine and Fellowships from both the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow. Early education was completed at St Joseph's Anglo-Chinese School.
