Head Of SEO And Insights (commercial) at The Telegraph

Louise Merry has worked for multiple companies in various roles related to SEO and journalism. Louise most recently held the position of Head of SEO and Insights (Commercial) at The Telegraph since March 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Telegraph Media Group from 2011 to 2020, where they held roles such as Head of SEO (Commercial), Commercial SEO Manager, Senior SEO Analyst Editor, and SEO Editor (Create). Before joining The Telegraph, they interned as a finance/personal finance reporter at The Independent from June 2010 to October 2010.

Louise Merry earned a BA Hons in Print Journalism from the University of Gloucestershire from 2007 to 2010. In 2013, they attended the London School of Publishing, specializing in Magazine and Newspaper Sub-editing. Prior to that, they completed their English Language and Literature studies at the Royal Forest of Dean College from 2005 to 2007, receiving a Double A* degree. Additionally, Louise has obtained certifications in Backlink Management, Mobile SEO, and Technical SEO from SEMrush.
