Tilaï Rosalina, PhD has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and responsibilities. They began their career as a Bachelor project participant at Eindhoven University of Technology, where they focused on characterizing the clotting time of porcine blood. They then pursued a research internship at AMOLF, gaining experience in lab techniques such as rheology and photo spectrometry. Following this, Tilaï undertook a research internship at the University of Pittsburgh, where they conducted a numerical investigation of oxygen transport in abdominal aortic aneurysms using ANSYS software.

Tilaï then returned to Eindhoven University of Technology for their Master's thesis project, which involved collaboration with cardiologists in the Catharina Ziekenhuis Eindhoven. Their project focused on developing novel therapies for myocardial infarction treatment using hypothermia. Additionally, Tilaï served as a student team member at the Career Center during their Master's program.

After completing their Master's degree, Tilaï continued their studies at Eindhoven University of Technology as a PhD researcher. Their research aimed to develop a clinical decision support model to prevent fluid overloading in surgical patients. This project involved collaborating with partners from Philips Research and Catharina Hospital Eindhoven, as well as supervising students, writing articles, and obtaining clinical data.

Most recently, Tilaï worked at The Surgical Company PTM as a Research and Development Engineer, specializing in software development and translating clinical needs into technical developments. As the R&D Team Lead, they led various projects related to sustaining fluid warming devices and developing new fluid warming solutions.

Tilaï Rosalina, PhD, earned an Engineer's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in the same field from the same university between 2010 and 2013. In 2012, they completed a Minor in Biomedical engineering at Queen Mary University of London. In 2014, they also received a certification in Safe Microbiological Techniques from Eindhoven University of Technology.
