Marcus Coleman is a highly experienced professional in the biomedical engineering field, currently serving as a Senior Clinical Engineer at The State University of New York since August 2023. Coleman is also the Owner/Operator of Coleman Biomed Corporation, a position held since June 2019. Previously, Coleman worked at The State University of New York as a Technology Commercialization Specialist from January 2020 to September 2022 and as a Technology Commercialization Assistant prior to that. Additional experience includes a role as a Venture Partner at FundRx from 2016 to 2019 and R&D Biomedical Engineer positions at both Boston Scientific (2015-2016) and Duke University (2012-2015). Coleman holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and has pursued further education in a Master of Engineering program and an MBA program at Duke University, with a focus on medical device strategy and healthcare. Coleman has also completed 86 credits in a Medicine program at St. George's University.
