Angie Wiese is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Director of the Department of Safety and Inspections for the City of Saint Paul, a position held since May 2022. In this role, Angie champions initiatives that promote safety and health in the community. Angie also contributes expertise as an ICC Board Director for the International Code Council since January 2018. Previously, Angie was the Fire Safety Manager for the City of Saint Paul from November 2005 to January 2022, overseeing the fire safety inspection program. Earlier career experience includes working as a Fire Protection Engineer at Tenneco and an Engineering Intern. Angie holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Hamline University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
