Thomas Dreher is a highly experienced NDT professional with a strong background in developing inspection solutions for composite structures. Currently serving as Principal NDT Engineer at The Spaceship Company since April 2016, Thomas focuses on NDT procedures and processes essential for maintaining the safety and structural integrity of flight. Prior to this role, Thomas worked at Rolls-Royce as an NDT Engineer from February 2005 to April 2016, where responsibilities included overseeing technical content and quality standards for engine manufacturing and maintenance. Earlier experience includes a position as Lead NDT Engineer at United Airlines from May 1986 to February 2005, where Thomas developed NDT methodologies for aircraft and engine maintenance. Thomas holds a Master’s Degree in Technology from Purdue University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management from Southern Illinois University, complemented by continuing education in Computer Information Systems and Mathematics.
