Julia Skeen has a strong background in talent acquisition, development, and organizational effectiveness. Julia worked as the Senior Director at The Southeast Permanente Medical Group starting in 2018. Prior to that, they held various roles at The Southeast Permanente Medical Group - Kaiser Permanente, starting in 2006 as the Manager of Educational Design and Training. Julia'sexperience also includes roles at Lee Hecht Harrison and Oakwood Healthcare. At the University of Michigan, they were a Communications Instructor from 1991 to 1996.

Julia Skeen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communications with a minor in Management from Eastern Michigan University. Julia also obtained a Master of Arts degree in Communications from the same institution. In addition, they have certifications in Community Emergency Response Team, HBDI, MBTI, and Leadership Circle.
