Roelof Gjaltema currently serves as the General Manager of The Social Hub Amsterdam City, a role held since January 2022. Prior to this position, Roelof was the General Manager of The Student Hotel Amsterdam City from January 2022 to October 2022 and held management roles at Leonardo Hotels Benelux from April 2014 to February 2022, overseeing two 4-star hotels in Almere and Utrecht. In addition to operational roles, Roelof initiated the Tailor Made Traineeship program for Hotel Management interns. Previous hospitality experience includes several managerial positions at Apollo Hotels and Ramada, along with a role as a student business consultant in South Africa. Academically, Roelof has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Stenden University and has pursued further studies at the University of Amsterdam, University of Groningen, and Stenden University South Africa.
