Diana Peregrina is a board member at the Skagit Valley Family YMCA. Diana has also worked as a multicultural recruitment specialist and admissions coordinator at Skagit Valley College. In this role, they were responsible for facilitating the recruitment and enrollment of multicultural, Latino and ESL/ABE transitioning students, through wrap- around outreach and guidance support services. Diana also helped to coordinate the IME Becas Grant, which supports the educational goals of Mexican citizens.
In addition to their work in college admissions, Diana has also hosted a radio show called “SVC es Para Ti” and co-hosted “Conexion Contigo” on KSVR 91.7 FM. Through these shows, they have been able to share information about higher education with potential students and their families.
Diana is passionate about helping others access higher education and strives to provide comprehensive college assistance to potential and current students from all backgrounds. Diana is an active member of their community and works collaboratively with various partner agencies, institutions, councils and businesses.
Diana Peregrina has a degree in Human Resources Management from ITESO, a specialization in domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy from SDVSAS, and a post-graduate specialization degree in human resource management from UNIVER University. Diana also has certification from SDVSAS in domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy.
