Mohid Tayyub has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and embedded systems. Mohid is currently working as a Digital Designer at The Six Semiconductor since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Hardware/Firmware Designer at RMF Design and Manufacturing Inc. from May 2020 to March 2021.
Before entering the industry, Mohid gained teaching assistant experience at Ryerson University from September 2018 to May 2020. Mohid taught final year engineering students the fundamentals of embedded system design and SoC design principles. Mohid also taught them about task scheduling methods, multithreading, and working with FPGA development boards.
In addition, Mohid worked as an Embedded Systems Designer at Infer.green from November 2018 to November 2019. Mohid was responsible for designing embedded systems during their time there.
Furthermore, Mohid also gained practical experience as a Product Engineer during their Professional Experience Year (PEY) at Litens Automotive Group from May 2016 to August 2017.
Mohid Tayyub completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Electrical Engineering at Ryerson University from 2013 to 2018. Mohid then pursued a Master of Applied Science (MASc) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the same university from 2018 to 2020. In March 2019, they obtained a certification in "Fundamentals of Deep Learning for Computer Vision" from NVIDIA.
