James Muter is an experienced rugby coach and administrator with a strong background in sports management and coaching. Currently serving as Head of Rugby at Umhlali Preparatory School since April 2011, James also contributes to the Sharks u13B management team and coaches various youth rugby sides for Durban Coastal Rugby. As a co-owner of Rugby 101 and JP Sports Co-ordinator at Umhlali Preparatory School, James demonstrates a commitment to developing young talent in rugby. Previous roles include head coach for the U20 team at Ballito Dolphins Rugby Club and assistant coach for Northwood Crusaders Rugby Club. James owned Fire&Flame Social Media Management from January 2021 to July 2023, managing social media for various companies. James holds a diploma in Sports and Exercise from the South African Institute of Rugby and attended Stanger High School.
