Kjell Steinsland is an experienced leader within The Salvation Army, currently serving as General Secretary and St Louis Regional Commander at the Midland Division since July 2020. Previously, Kjell held various roles including General Secretary and Divisional Secretary for Business in the Chicago Metropolitan Division from January 2015 and Divisional Secretary for Business in the Western Division from June 2011 to December 2014. Kjell's early career included positions such as Divisional Finance Officer and Divisional Youth Secretary. Kjell's educational background includes a Master's degree in Church Management from Olivet Nazarene University and a Bachelor's degree in Religion from the same institution.
