Yousuf Yaqub is currently serving as an Executive Committee Officer and University Representative for the Royal Society of Medicine, where responsibilities include organizing events and promoting the society to a national audience of over 20,000 medical students. As a Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at a venue established in January 2023, Yousuf is actively involved in entrepreneurship alongside academic pursuits. Recent research experience includes a summer research position under Professor Adnan Custovic at Imperial College London, focusing on complex data analysis in asthma and allergy, as well as consulting for a gene therapy startup with 180 Degrees Consulting. Yousuf also possesses experience in infectious disease research and international COVID policy analysis. Education is being pursued at Imperial College London, aiming for a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, following a foundational education at Dubai College.
