Ciaran Bagnall is a prominent lighting and set designer with extensive experience in the theatre industry. Since April 2012, Bagnall has worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company as a Lighting Designer, contributing to notable productions such as "THE WHIP," "DIDO, QUEEN OF CARTHAGE," and "Othello." Additional roles include Set & Lighting Designer at Hull Truck Theatre and The MAC (Belfast), along with Lighting Designer positions at the Bush Theatre, The Lowry, the National Theatre, and the Grand Opera House, Belfast. Bagnall has been associated with several companies since 2008, including Primecut Productions and Tinderbox Theatre Company. Ciaran Bagnall holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama/Theatre Arts and Stagecraft from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, completed between 1997 and 2000, and received secondary education at Abbey Grammar School in Newry, Northern Ireland.
