Nick is an Honorary Lecturer and Tutor at Queen Mary University of London, focusing on MSc Tactical, Military, Austere, and Operational Medicine. Currently serving as a Second Marker for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the Tactical Medicine module, Nick also chairs the National Clinical Panel and First Aid Forum for the National Police Chiefs' Council, advocating for best practices in pre-hospital care within UK policing. With a long-standing role as Vice Chair of the National Clinical Panel and Police First Aid Forum and extensive experience in search operations and pre-hospital care leadership at Lancashire Constabulary, Nick has contributed significantly to training and operational planning in policing. Additional experience includes specialist planning roles during the Covid pandemic with Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Partnership and Lancashire Resilience Forum. Nick's educational qualifications include various management and medical certifications, culminating in a Bachelor's degree from Lancaster University.
