Ryan Herman is an experienced editor and content professional with a diverse background in journalism and editorial strategy. Currently serving as an Editor at The River Group since July 2022, Ryan has previously worked as a freelance Writer, Editor, Copywriter, and Content Consultant from April 2020 to July 2022. Notable roles include Journalist At Large at Local Trust, Contributing Editor at the Institute of Directors, and Managing Editor of Content Communications at Sky, where Ryan significantly enhanced engagement through a new editorial strategy. Ryan’s earlier experience includes editing Britain’s largest sports magazine at Sky Sports and holding editorial positions at prominent publishing houses such as Haymarket Publishing and John Brown. Ryan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Modern History and Politics from the University of Liverpool.
