Magaly Rosario

Director, Northwest Region Migrant Education Program at The Research Foundation for SUNY

Magaly Rosario serves as the Director of the Northwest Region Brockport Migrant Education Program at The Research Foundation for SUNY since May 2021. Previously, Magaly held the position of Executive Director at Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter School from January 2019 to June 2020 and served as Program Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester from 2016 to 2019. Experience also includes roles as a Foreign Language Teacher at Dansville Central School from 2003 to 2016, Adjunct Spanish Instructor at Genesee Community College from 2008 to 2014, Family Educator at Family Focus Even Start Program in 2002-2003, Spanish Teacher at Mt. Morris Central School District in 2002-2003, Elementary School Teacher at Colegio Sonifel from 1998 to 2002, and Developmental Aid at Finger Lakes DDSO from 1995 to 1997. Magaly holds an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology, an Advanced Diversity & Inclusion certificate from Cornell University, a Bachelor¡¯s Degree in Elementary Education from Universidad del Turabo, and is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration from the University of Rochester - Warner School of Education, expected to be completed in May 2025.
