Michael Holstein has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Michael has served as a Special Advisor for Budgeting and Financial Forecasting at Adelphi University, both in a current role and as an Interim Special Advisor from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer at the University of Indianapolis, overseeing finance, accounting, budgeting, and treasury functions. Michael has also held leadership positions at North American Franchise Consultants LLC, Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator, Inc., IPALCO Enterprises, Inc., and Deloitte. Michael'sroles have involved responsibilities such as strategic planning, credit policy implementation, and presenting updates to board committees. Michael began their career as an Analyst at Houston Lighting & Power Company.
Michael Holstein earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The University of New Mexico, where they attended from 1975 to 1979. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they completed their high school education at Rantoul High School from 1971 to 1975. Michael later pursued further education at UNM Anderson School of Management, where they obtained a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, attending from 1979 to 1980.
