Dev Awasthi, Esq. serves as the Vice President of New York City Legislative Affairs at the Real Estate Board of New York since October 2024. Previously, Awasthi held various roles including Vice President and Director at Kasirer LLC, where engagement with New York City government advocacy and collaboration with nonprofit clients were key responsibilities. Awasthi's experience includes legal internships with the State of Connecticut Attorney General and the New York State Attorney General, as well as a role as Deputy Chief of Staff for a New York City Council Member, advising on legislative matters. Awasthi's political involvement extends to campaign management and community liaison roles, with a strong academic background in law and political science from the University of Connecticut and Syracuse University.
