Alison Eales is a Quality Enhancement Specialist at The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education since January 2015, focusing on enhancement projects in the Scottish tertiary education sector. In addition to this role, Alison Eales has been a long-standing member of the band Butcher Boy, serving as a keyboardist and arranger since January 2005, and has contributed to three studio albums supported by Creative Scotland. Previous experience includes tutoring at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, the University of Glasgow, and the University of Strathclyde, where Alison Eales designed and delivered various courses. Additionally, Alison Eales served as an Assistant Faculty Officer at Strathclyde Business School and as Senior Vice President of the Glasgow University Students' Representative Council. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education (MEd) in Learning and Teaching in the Arts from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, a PhD in Music from the University of Glasgow, and an MLitt in Popular Music Studies from the same institution, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in English Language.
