Dayanch Hojagyeldiyev has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors and roles. Starting in 2005, they served as the PR Coordinator at Washington State University's International Center. In 2006, they joined IREX as an Online Projects Assistant. From 2008 to 2009, Dayanch worked with UNDP as the Hazar Project PR and Educational Programs Specialist, where they promoted biodiversity conservation through media campaigns, educational trainings, and international partnerships. From 2010 to 2011, they participated in the Rhode Island Government Intern Program as a Consultant, focusing on environmental quality and outreach. In 2012, Dayanch joined the U.S. Embassy in Ashgabat as an Information and Media Assistant. Dayanch then transitioned to Dragon Oil in 2013, where they served as both Corporate Social Responsibility and Environment Assistant and later as the Supervisor until 2021. In 2021, they worked as a Communications Specialist for the World Health Organization before joining The QED Group as a Partnerships Specialist for the USAID Governance Support Program.
Dayanch Hojagyeldiyev obtained a B.Sc. in Biology from Turkmen State University, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Dayanch also spent a year, from 2004 to 2005, as a Visiting Scholar at Washington State University, focusing on Sociology and Social Psychology. In 2009, Dayanch attended Brown University and earned an A.M. in Environmental Studies, completing the program in 2011. Dayanch has also obtained several certifications, including the NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management from RRC International in September 2017, the Oil Spill Response Manager and Oil Spill Response Operator certifications from Oil Spill Response Ltd in January 2015, the Permit to Work Level II from SEFtec Global Training LLC in November 2014, the International Minimum Industry Safety Training (IMIST) and Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) from OPITO in May 2015 and September 2014 respectively, the Unified System of Labour Safety Management in Turkmenistan from the Major State Service "Turkmen Standarts" in September 2015, and certifications in CPR & First Aid, Accident-Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis, and Risk Awareness and Prevention from ERC European Resuscitation Council, RBMS Safety Training and Consultancy Services in November 2013, December 2014 (for both certifications), and December 2014 respectively.
