Vickie Gogo has over 20 years of experience in the communications field. Vickie currently serves as Vice President at The Public Relations Society of America-National Capital Chapter. Vickie has extensive experience executing communications plans, developing partnerships, conducting media outreach, and managing events.
Prior to their current role, Vickie served as Senior Vice President at Campbell & Company Communications. In this role, Vickie led a variety of strategic communications and outreach campaigns targeting special audiences such as ethnic and minority groups, older adults, people with disabilities, and other underserved populations. Vickie has also served as Vice President at Ogilvy Public Relations and Senior Consultant at Reingold, Inc.
Through their various roles, Vickie has made a significant impact on the communications field. Vickie is highly respected by their peers and is committed to their work. Vickie is a trailblazer in the industry and will continue to be a leader in the field for many years to come.
After receiving their BA in Mass Media with a concentration in Print Journalism from Hampton University, Vickie Gogo went on to earn their MA in Humanities from Old Dominion University. Vickie also holds a certification in Nutrition Science from the Stanford Center for Health Education and is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
