Stephen Ritchie has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies.
In 1996, they started their career at Berwick Academy as a Teacher/Coach, teaching English, history, and French to 5th and 6th-grade students. Stephen also coached girls varsity hockey, served as a goalie coach, and coached middle school soccer, baseball, and tennis until 1998.
From 1998 to 2001, Stephen joined Indian Mountain School as a Teacher/Coach and took on multiple responsibilities. Stephen taught 7th and 8th-grade history and served as a technology coordinator. Additionally, they were a dorm parent and coached JV soccer and varsity baseball.
In 2001, Stephen transitioned to inRESONANCE, Inc. as a CFO, overseeing fiscal management and budgeting until 2006.
Stephen then co-founded The Proof Group in 2006, where they held the role of Chairman and contributed to the company's growth and development.
In 2008, Stephen co-founded edSocialMedia, an online blogazine exploring the use of social media in education, with a focus on independent schools and colleges.
In 2020, Stephen became a Principal at Normal>Next, where they partnered with and invested in talented individuals and organizations, helping them with strategy implementation, fiscal management, relationship building, consulting, and training.
Most recently, in 2021, Stephen embarked on a new venture as the Co-founder and CFO of Proof+Geist.
Stephen Ritchie attended St. Paul's School from 1988 to 1992. Following this, they pursued a degree in Psychology (Clinical) at Tufts University from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA). In 1991, they also participated in a program called School Year Abroad, although no specific degree or field of study is indicated for this period.
