Ruth Bodell McCool is an experienced educator currently serving as a Grade 3 Teacher at Lincoln School since July 2024. Previously, Ruth held roles as a 4th Grade Anchor Teacher and a 5th Grade Anchor Teacher at The Pike School from August 2020 to the present. Prior to that, Ruth was a Class IV Homeroom Teacher at The Nightingale-Bamford School between August 2016 and August 2020 and served as a Class III Associate Teacher at The Brearley School during the 2015-2016 academic year. Ruth began their teaching career as a 1st Grade Assistant Teacher at Brunswick School from August 2013 to July 2015. Ruth's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Childhood Special and General Education from Bank Street College of Education, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bowdoin College, attendance at the Klingenstein Summer Institute at Teachers College, Columbia University, and studying at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad.
