Andrea McCarren serves as the President of The PenFed Foundation and is the Senior Vice President and Chief Content Officer for PenFed Digital at PenFed Credit Union, where a digital storytelling team was established under their leadership to enhance internal and external communications. Previous roles include Investigative Reporter/Producer at WUSA-TV, launching their investigative team, and reporting at WJLA-TV, ABC News, and NBC News. Andrea received the Nieman Fellowship at Harvard University, where innovative broadcast and multimedia courses were developed and taught. Educational background includes a B.A. in Anthropology from Vassar College and a General Course Diploma from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
