Sofia Miranda is a skilled journalist specializing in sports writing, currently serving as the Women’s Soccer beat writer and features writer for The Daily Collegian since June 2024. In addition to coverage of various sports including rugby, volleyball, and Olympic events, Sofia holds the position of Public Health Track Advisor for The Pad Project, where analysis of ambassador program applications is conducted. As a writer for Inside The Rink, Sofia focuses on the PWHL New York team and the NHL's Anaheim Ducks and New York Islanders. Notably, Sofia produces hockey articles in Portuguese for Tic-Tac Gol! and is actively involved in human rights advocacy through volunteering with Girl Up Clarisse and CEPIA.
