Reana Akthar is currently a Teaching Assistant at Oddfellows Playhouse and a member of the Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) at Wesleyan University, where involvement includes the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Subcommittee. As a Teaching Fellow with the National Education Equity Lab, Reana leads recitation sections for a course focused on ethics and civics, while also providing support to scholars in Title I schools. In roles at the Youth Power Coalition, Reana has advocated for increased youth representation in local governance and developed a youth-led policy platform addressing the needs of young people in New York. Other positions include serving as a Fellow with The Opportunity Network, curriculum development for various educational initiatives, and contributing as a Digital Artist and Writer. Reana pursues a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Education Studies at Wesleyan University, set to graduate in 2026.
