Peter Mohler is an accomplished researcher and academic leader with an extensive background in cardiovascular and pulmonary disease research. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President for Research Innovation & Knowledge and Vice President for Research at The Ohio State University, Peter also holds roles as Chief Scientific Officer and Director of the Dorothy M. Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. With experience in various leadership positions within the College of Medicine, including Vice Dean and Senior Associate Dean for Research, Peter has focused on advancing medical research and education. An established educator, Peter has contributed significantly to training the next generation of researchers and fostering interdisciplinary collaborations. Peter’s academic credentials include a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with postdoctoral training at Duke University Medical Center.
