Glen Kissack serves as the Operations Manager for the Oceans team at The Ocean Cleanup since September 2019, overseeing the management and optimization of offshore operations for a leading environmental non-profit focused on removing plastic from the world's oceans. Prior to this role, Glen held the position of Offshore Project Manager during a secondment from Maersk Supply Service and accumulated extensive experience at Maersk Supply Service from August 2014 to August 2019 as a Second Officer SDPO and JDPO, executing complex marine operations and developing innovative solutions in challenging environments. Glen began a maritime career as a Deck Cadet with A.P. Moller - Maersk from September 2011 to July 2014, completing significant sea time. Educational qualifications include a foundation degree in Marine Operations from Warsash Maritime Academy.
