Marie Gilmour has extensive work experience in the fields of consulting and project management. Marie began working as a Principal Consultant at Real Time Engineering Limited in 1992, where they held various roles including Sector Management, Business Development, Project Management, and IT Strategic Consultancy. Marie'sclients included the Scottish Government, ScottishPower, British Airports Authority, Civil Aviation Authority, British Airways, and NATS. In 2007, Marie Gilmour joined The Nichols Group as a Director, and later became a Principal Consultant. In their role at The Nichols Group, they worked on various projects such as providing cost management advice for the High Speed 2 (HS2) programme and assisting with the development of the Crossrail 2 project. Marie also served as the Project Representative (P-Rep) lead for High Speed 2, phase 1. Marie Gilmour's work experience at both Real Time Engineering Limited and The Nichols Group demonstrates their expertise in consulting, project management, and providing strategic advice to clients in the transportation and government sectors.
Marie Gilmour attended the University of Strathclyde from 1982 to 1987, where they obtained a BEng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Holyrood Secondary School, although no specific dates or degrees related to their time there were provided.
