Valerie Morton is an experienced fundraiser and consultant with a career spanning over 26 years, serving as the Director of their own consultancy since January 1997, where services include developing organizational and fundraising strategies for charities and companies. In addition to consultancy work, Valerie holds various significant positions, such as Trustee and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at NHS Confederation, and Independent Chair for Independent Review Panels related to NHS Continuing Healthcare. Valerie also chairs the Newcastle upon Tyne Children's Mission and Institute Fund, a grant-making trust co-founded by family members. Former roles include trustee positions at the RNIB Retirement Benefit Scheme, Julia Norris Almshouse Trust, and Central YMCA, as well as non-executive director roles with East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust and NHS Midlands and East. Valerie holds a BA (Hons) in Economics and Maths from Durham University.
