Julia Chang currently serves as Associate Director of Philanthropic Strategy at The New York Community Trust, a position held since May 2019, after earlier roles as Philanthropic Initiatives Officer and Philanthropy Fellow, focusing on community development, civic affairs, arts and culture, and historic preservation programs. Prior to this, Julia worked at Penguin Random House as a Production Editor and at Cambridge University Press, where multiple positions included Senior Production Editor, Production Editor, Associate Production Editor, and Production Assistant. Julia Chang holds a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Vassar College.
