Mr. Silverstein is the president of International Development and Global Licensing at Perry Ellis International. He leads an international executive team in expanding the global footprint of the company’s dynamic brand portfolio. During his 29-year tenure with Warnaco, he was responsible for successfully directing the company’s international expansion.

In addition to serving on the Board of Trustees of The New School, Mr. Silverstein also serves on the Board of Directors of Sovereign Health System.

Mr. Silverstein was introduced to The New School by board chair Joseph Gromek.
