Usman Butt is a skilled video producer and freelance writer with extensive experience in media and documentary production. Currently working at Middle East Monitor since November 2018, Usman has also contributed articles on political and international issues for The New Arab and has served as an assistant producer at Al Jazeera Media Network. Previous roles include working as a freelance researcher and writer for BBC Arabic, The Huffington Post, and various other outlets, focusing on themes related to history, politics, and culture in the MENA region. Usman holds a Master's degree in Palestine Studies from the University of Exeter and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Arabic Language from the University of Westminster.
