AP Muhammed Afsal is an experienced journalist currently contributing to multiple outlets, including The New Arab and Middle East Eye since June 2020, and Al Jazeera Media Network since May 2021. Notable roles include serving as a Contributing Editor for The Cultural Village Foundation - Katara and as Foreign Editor for Qatar Tribune Newspaper from February to May 2023. Afsal holds a diverse educational background with degrees from various institutions, including the University of Calicut and the English and Foreign Languages University, and is currently pursuing studies at Indira Gandhi National Open University. Previous experience includes coverage of Gulf affairs and involvement in various reporting roles across media entities.
